After much talking, and much planning, it is now time to lay down some treads! We are hitting segment 5 of the trail this morning. Entering the unknown is what makes this so exciting! It isn't just the unknown of what's over that hill, or what's around that peak? It is also the unknown of living without any "creature comforts" for a sustained period of time. I am not referring to flat screens and the internet, I am referring to running water and electricity. Enter the unknown.
